Start out at Annfield Plain, Durham Road. At the mini-roundabout bear right onto Front Street (B6168 signposted Catchgate). Follow the road through Catchgate and Harelaw. At Mountsett, turn right onto the A692 until the Pickering Nook Junction of the A692 with Syke Bank. Turn left at the lights, down Syke Bank. Turn right into Birch Crescent and follow the road bearing left as the road forks. 9 East View is at the top of the rise on your left.
